My earlier comment seems to have disappeared so I will try again. Wouldn’t these need to be Tortured (or some other word beginning with “t”) Heretic Dongles? Or, more precisely, since Rob wouldn’t eat regular Heretic Dongles (since they are not vegan), Tortured Tiny (for tofu) Heretic Dongles?

Oh, man! You don’t put catsup on Heretic Dongles! You dip them in salsa.

Heretic dongles, are they The Spanish Inquisition’s take on prairie oysters?

I’m with Bucky here. Instead of remembering a PIN code by a far-fetched mnemonic device, like the Battle of Hastings minus Donald Duck’s birthday backwards and so on, I prefer to just memorize four digits and move on with my life.

I thought Heretic Dongles opened for “The Twisted Sisters”.

Still waiting on a reprint of a Sunday strip where Bucky says “you before he, except after me”. Rob says something like “what a strange mnemonic device” and Satch says “I thought he was Siamese”.

I’m surprised Bucky didn’t refer mnemonics as “demonics”, and Satchel didn’t reply in the last panel “heretic dongles with flies”.

In a strange coincidence, “heretic dongles” is what Apple calls the adapters you need so you can charge your old iphone with a usb-c cable

Heretics have been sadly treated throughout history. Heretic dongles, even worse.

Satchel established that today is Wednesday because his Wormegay Priory triggered Wednesday Pancakes. In the last panel he references tomorrow which would be Thursday if today is Wednesday, so he does not have to specify the “T…” for Heretic Dongles. Rob is vegetarian so H D is not Hot Dogs. So what are they eating on Thursday?

The whole point of a complicated mnemonic is to reinforce access to a particular memory from different “directions”. I’m sure Cockney Slang was originally a mnemonic device before it ran completely off the rails. :)

Is this based on the “Day the Universe Changed” episode where James Burke used a medieval church as a mnemonic tool?

How is “Wormegay Priory” “Wednesday Pancakes” and not “Wednesday Pizza”?
