I wouldn’t usually play a kid so quickly, but in real life, high school basketball practice has already begun so I need to push this story to its inevitable implausible conclusion at an accelerated pace after dragging it out since August.
Tip in for play. Has head handed to him. Milford forfeits game for using a player ineligible for having too few practices. Or maybe Milford is located in one of those states where rules are meant to be bought off. Not mentioning any names, ya’ll.
Marty Moon- "Now in for the ‘Larks is #2, Tip Nunn (SWIG). The Milford coaching staff is very high on Nunn (BIG Swig). Nunn brings atheleticism that Milford hasn’t seen in some time (Guzzle, Guzzle).
Gilfans, admit it….it gets the juices flowing when a boring, plodding story line takes the inevitable preposterous turn…..and this one went off the track for sure!
Looks like Abro is continuing his tough year by missing another PAT
P2 is actually a picture one of the fans took. It’s proof that Tip had no interest in playing, but was “shoved” into the game. Hopefully, he doesn’t get hurt because there is not evidence that he was forced into the game without his consent.
How about, “I wouldn’t usually play a kid so early” because according to state athletic association rules, no one can play until they’ve had a minimum number of practices (10 in my state).
In all reality, everything Gil told Kaz will be brought out in court during the trial for medical expenses and punitive damages caused by Gil knowingly putting Tip into the game. Pop wil have to come back to wrestle in a benefit to pay Gils legal bills.
The defending 2A state champion in NC is in the playoffs right now with an 8-4 record instead of 11-1 for using an ineligible player. Bad thing is he was not even used much in the games. NC says ‘participation’ is suiting up and warming up even if you do not set foot on the field. It was the 2-4th game of the season and it was not even discovered until about three weeks ago.

“He’s the best-conditioned player we have.” It should tell Gil something when the cheerleader is in better shape than his players.

When does gymnastics season start?Maybe the only overlap with football will be a lasting injury.

Oh no! There’s no sign being held up in P1!

Is Tip being used as a sacrifice?Milford is up by 20. Send Tip in to protect Jarbo, who is one of the few experienced players not sick or injured.

Kaz, for the last time, “No means no.”

In P2 it looks like Kaz has been practicing his Big John Pascoe non-verbal signals.

Sorry, I got kicked out of the stadium. They didn’t like my “Gil Sucks” sign.

You have to appreciate Kaz still sporting the mullet with the zirconian stud in his ear. He qualifies as a Milford hipster.

Why not recruit Koy Nash for the team and have him become Milford’s version of Richie Incognito?

Tip makes up his own words for the cheers. I hope he starts overriding calls in the huddle.

In all realty. Gil should put Pop into the game and claim Pop was eligble to play since he was in night school working on a GED.
