Yikes. Not only was he suspended for 5 days, but his body was sent back to 6th grader size.

Pranit’s arm is mysteriously shortened — his wrist is even with the top of his head. Raise your arm over your head and try to imagine that.

So, did this 5-day suspension also have the effect of cancelling all the gambling debts that everyone owed him? Gil breathes a sigh of relief that he won’t have to pay up the $50 he wagered that the NBA All-Star Game would be won by “Phoenix”.

Say hello to Ferdinand Marcos for me if you’re in exile.

One story arc down, one to go. Let’s hurry up and see that Hollis is even worse at guard than Maddie was, so she gets no playing time at all. Hollis’s replacement at forward is also terrible, so the Lady Mudlarks lose all their remaining games. Way to demonstrate your leadership skills, Captain! Meanwhile, back at the Milford Library Board…

Pranit looks thrilled to be in basketball “exile” just in time for the Larks to lock up third (or fourth) in the Valley.

P-1: Oh, those kids! They both ordered palm buzzers from Bazooka Joe.

P-2: 5 days! Pearl the Merciless.

    P3: No, Basketball wasn’t suspended, I was.

Bold prediction: with Prank’s exile on basketball street, Mimi has a seizes the easy out of a difficult coaching situation and sweet talks Gilpa to take the captain on the boys team as shooting guard to replace Prank’s scoring, with Talley(Ho) removed from the mix, the girls team chemistry immediately improves, paving the way to second in the Valley, and a deep run in the playdowns that is celebrated by the team at the Bucket as Mimi drive’s by and later toasted by passing around two cans of Hoo Hard Seltzer

Meanwhile, Hollis learns the meaning of being “manned up” and withers under the fierce, physical pressure of boys basketball along with all hopes for second in the Valley and results in resentment by the rest of the team for her being exempt from post-game loofah drills and not being a team player

So how does he get off with a suspension? Shoeless Joe Jackson & Pete Rose were banned for life.

I don’t like Young Gil blatantly flirting with me in P3! And speaking of flirting, you’re flirting with missing out big time if you don’t read Mopped Up Thorp.
