Uh… “Today’s lift-a-thon will ensure football and other programs are funded annually” Does the writer/letterer know what annually means? That means on-going. Did they raise so much they started an endowment, and the interest on the endowment will be enough to fund the programs annually? That’s a heck of a lot of money. Did they raise so many millions that a portion of the principal can be doled out annually over years to come? Were they working to fund next year’s football programs (since this year’s is over)? Funding the program for the coming school year isn’t the same as annually.
P1- Nice Safety Dance Thor P. Doing squats with no belt? And no rack? Even in the 1970’s, high schools had these things. A return Winter’s wrestling match with Herk the Mauler should have capped off the fundraiser.
P 4 (Toby thought bubble): “…on second thought, I’m not giving this dopey school s***….they don’t need it now…haha…this is working out better than I ever could have imagined…”
As I mentioned on my own comedy post today, what is it with Gil with the “Shake, Rattle, and Roll” hairdo today? Bill Haley and the rest of his Comets flexing their biceps for the camera before they rip into “See You Later, Alligator”? Geez, I hope this farce is soon over with in a short while, Crocodile.

“We all lived happily ever after – except for Lukey, who it was said that his heart shrunk three sizes that day.”
Speaking of living, can somebody get over to the Thorp’s spare bedroom and give us a pulse check?

Geez, maybe we should have a Lift-A-Thon in Washington, DC to balance the budget. That, and hire Henry as our accountant/budget analyst.

I see Gil changed into his “#1 ORD” shirt. And speaking of ORD, if you want to see something extraORDinary, check out today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
