At least he was honest about it.

Do you swear to tell the truth. Yes up to a point. What point is that. The point where i start lying.

Well, it’s worth a shot.

His wife has known that about him for years. It’s no surprise to her.

Did you or have you ever won the Masters?

I have no recollection of that, Senator.

You know, I am not sure what they would do with that.

Someone must have tried that at some point.

Save a lot of time to just eliminate that part. It’s up to the lawyers to coach the witness as to how to respond.. without lying

In essence he IS telling the truth.

too funny. As a longtime lawyer I’ve often wondered what would happen if someone actually said that. Or, more accurately, admitted that upfront.

The swearing in should be: “Be aware that your testimony will be verified. Falsehoods will be prosecuted as perjury. You will held in jail for contempt of court, until sentenced.”

Finally an honest man…..

I appreciate his honesty.

If only politicians would agree to those rules.
