Lol! Busted!

Another fishey story. The big one that didn’t get away (with it)

Guess the flu flew.

Flu fishing. After the fly fishing.

The Boss has tackled him. His plans have fishtailed. He’s in trouble fissure. How is he going to worm his way out of this?

And he lives at lucky number 13. He should have expected this. Of course, if he wears that coat, fish won’t come within a mile of him. Should be required wear for hunting, too.

Umm, they told me that omega-3 helps with the flu

“Do you also want to turn in all of your other keys now?”

“The flu got better, 24 hour type, but now I have business at the bank. The bank of the stream!” Or maybe, “my arm was in a cast”

That’s a classic. One of my favorites.

Hah! The boss tracked him down. He should have left his room earlier. It’s too late now for fishing anyway.

Caught before the act!

Most of our file cabinets used the same key; A key stamped with a letter S for Steelcase…

And you’ll have plenty of time to fish now.

A couple of guys I worked with called in sick and it happened to be opening day for a few hunting seasons. The supervisor I had at the time called me in to work overtime and went to check on the others. Neither one was at home. The boss found them quail hunting on a nearby farm. That little stunt cost each of them a 3 day unpaid vacation.

A true classic from the early days of the strip. I believe I have this comic in one of my early Herman Treasury’s. Been a fan since the mid to late ’70’s when I was in college.

Oops…got caught in the act of deception!

The 5 or 6 years of my job they came out to my house to check on me when I was on disability, they even called. I was allowed to go out but always felt guilty if i saw someone I knew.

Whoopsie!!!
