Is there a reason why the cartoonist chose the name “Harry” as opposed to some other name?

She see’s him as a specimen to be studied and put in a cage with the rest of the apes.

An earlier comic, maybe the first, said “If you Jane, me not Tarzan” https://www.gocomics.com/herman/2007/04/24 I understand the first, I do not understand this one.

He could have used Cecil?

Herman is not brave enough to Jane-up.

I always thought Jethro’s dumbest mistake (which is saying a lot) was not seeing what a fine catch miss Jane Hathaway was.
