Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I know the feeling. I have a bunch of Pogo books, but also getting the Pogo: The Complete Syndicated Comic Strips too. I have Vols 1-7 already. Vol 8 is going to be a Christmas present. Only 4 more to go. after that. Vols 9-12 yet to be published.
It’s okay to tell people what you might like… But if it’s an obvious one (like this) don’t tell a lot of family members or you’ll get multiple copies. (And dropping hints spares you from getting things you really don’t want, and have to lie and say ’It’s wonderful’ about.)
I know people who keep buying themselves stuff while Christmas shopping and then get upset when they get as a present something they had just bought themselves.
My wife’s family always struggles with what to get me for Christmas. They never asked until one year one of her sisters was supposed to buy something for me and (gasp!) she asked me what I wanted. I told her some Pickles comic collections. One of the best Christmas presents I got from anyone in her family.

I might get the Complete Peanuts Strips. No one will buy that for me!

His Dad’ll be so very disappointed when he doesn’t get it as a gift.

I wonder if that is happening in someone’s house in reference to Robb’s book: “On a Roll!: A JumpStart Treasury”

And I hope somebody buys me “On a Roll!: A JumpStart Treasury” for Christmas!

Kind of like how some bands end up having “Last Final Ultimate Farewell” tours?

Great titles on the shelf, but “Iconic Ike” and “Vic’s Picks” are the best!

How about you ask him or your mom if he has it?

Does Joe seem increasingly tone deaf to anyone else?

So keep the receipt! If he’s got it, return the new one and get him a gift card!
