But you can get a iphone ringtone which sounds like the old phone.
Harpies are shrill
Here are some of today’s kids trying to use a rotary dial phone. Although the last phone is a bit different, it is still a rotary dial phone.:

Thank you for the Ukrainian Flag Mr. Lustig.
Whaddya mean, you old talk on it?
Who talks on the phone?
I saw a phone booth in a club recently. No phone in it, just a quiet place you can use your cell.
It’s amazing how heavy those old Bakealite handsets are ! Remember party lines ?
I actually didn’t mind those.. til I had a modem and would get line noise every time someone picked up the handset!
That’s my ringtone. Now if only there was an app that made a loud clanging sound when you want to hang up with a slam.
One ring-y ding-g….
Even cellphones make awful sounds. And you can’t get away from them.
It’s a phone. You know, the thing you use to take pictures and send text messages.
There are those of us who knew how to use a desk or wall phone that did not have either a TouchPad or a rotary dial.
Or when someone put a lock on a rotary dial of their phone. Yes, that was a thing.
And what a party line was.
And what a trunk call was (and no, it has nothing to do with the phone in the third video in the post @littlejohn made).
Now where did I leave my 2600Hz Cap’n. Crunch whistle and my Demon Dialer?
Our’s use to wake up the whole town when it rang. Also had a party line.
“Hey! Grandma! Your telephone is broken. It’s buzzing.” “No, child. That’s the dial tone.”
A woman that doesn’t like phones? Amazing.
The “ringer” for a phone like that was a separate box attached to the wall.
Cueing up a classic…. Anita Ward “Ring My Bell” ring a ring a ring. 1979…. Disco classic!
Of course, she said the same thing about her husband when she woke up this morning.
Rotary dial phone? I’m sure there’s an app for that.
