I’ve heard ‘em all. But then, I’m 83 and have travelled to all 50 states.

It’s called Tonic.

It’s “Coke.” They should’ve lost their trademark rights YEARS ago to the “common usage” exception.

Did you know that “Paper Towels,” “Toilet Paper,” “Tooth Paste,” and numerous other names we routinely use for everyday things were once trademarks that were lost because of common usage? “Xerox,” “Kleenex,” “Q-Tip” and “Coke” should be next.

When I was a kid, down in Missouri, it was “Sodie Pop”

They are obviously separated by denominational differences.

I witnessed two guys going on about this at college in 1970. Amusing to say the least.

In Boston and certain parts of New England, it was called “Tonic”.
