Americans assign too much homework. It causes stress and leads to stress-relief like binge drinking and reading moist romance novels.

Don’t worry, Luanne. You can always take the GED. Here are the books you’ll need to cram for that test. It’s next Monday.

Even if you can manage a page per year, it won’t take THAT long, Lu! :D

Ah, how time flies… or doesn’t.

Life is applied homework. Sometimes you get your grade instantly; some take decades.

There is no way Luann would focus on homework that long. She just isn’t interested in an education. Once she is, if ever, she will dig in and do it.

And, at age 80, I’ll finally graduate from 7th grade.
