So I guess they waited. Or at least they did in Frank’s naive, naive mind.

Where I’m from, if they don’t call you “Hon”, then you must’ve given them the ‘stink eye’ the day before…or they found out you put a folding chair in the parking space they just dug out from the snow…

My wife and I have a number of “terms of endearment”. To be honest with you, I cannot stand “Hon” or “Dear”…

Lol We call each other “hon”. It just comes naturally.

Nothing wrong with hun, but these two are too young and juicy for hun yet. After they have been married for about 20 years, after a couple of kids, when they are too tired to be nearly as juicy as they are when they got first married, an occasional hun should be okay. It’s a term of affection, no passion I agree. Right now passion I mean look at Toni. One the sexiest comic characters drawn in mainstream comics. Hard to beat beautiful young brides.

“Hon” short for “honey” as in sweetness is good and your significant other is sweet.

Ah, even when Toni and Brad are married over 20 years, there is no reason the fun cannot keep going. My wife and I have been married almost 27 years, and we still make fun with some of the most mundane of actions.

When my wife goes shopping and returns home with the toilet paper, I always have “Nights in White Satin” by The Moody Blues playing in the background. I open the door for her, and once in, I take her into my arms, gaze lovingly into her eyes that are like limpid blue pools, and share a passionate kiss with her. I lock the door and inquire, “My love, truest of true, didst thou bring home the toilet paper?” To which she always replies, “Yes, my passionate love, it is in yon bag.” At that point, we fall as one onto the Persian rug in the foyer, being ever careful not to knock the Queen Anne hall table over on to us. I take the package of toilet paper and gently place it under her head to use as a pillow. “You’re so Charmin,” she always tells me as I am ravishing her.

I always look forward to when she comes home with toilet paper. Doesn’t everyone do this?

Haha! Wonderfully cute and funny! IMO the most fun and funny comic from the whole wedding arc!!!!

He must think his son is still 12 years old.

I was waiting for this arc’s comments. Tomorrow can only be better. So here goes. We don’t know that Toni came into this relationship “like the driven snow” as they say. Remember she had an abusive boyfriend before Brad. On the other hand, nothing in previous strips provided enough innuendo to suppose either hanky or panky was in play. Besides, I’d rather have heard Nancy and Toni’s conversation in the background.

How about “Schmoopie”? (“No, YOU’RE Schmoopie!!! – NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!”)

Seriously? Advice on “intimacy”? Brad and Toni have access to the internet.

Hopefully, he will be able to call her, Toni the Tiger.

Actually, these days it’s often women who call guys, “hon.” I would have thought you’d be calling her “Baby” or something akin to that.

I thought he was going to ask about carrying her over the threshold like a piece of property.

My wife sometimes uses “honey”. I use “dear”.

I can just see them the day after the first honeymoon night looking like a Klingon couple after a night of you know what…..

Just call her sweetie lovey baby darling. That sounds good to me.

Eventually you will, Brad. It just happens. :-)

Good finale to the wedding arc. Brad & Toni look refreshed. And now Toni has a Mom.

The Wedding is all over, except for the screaming and crying and moaning and groaning……………of course, Toni might feel a little discomfort, too.

I’m babe or bae, he’s baby. I hardly ever use his name when speaking to him. Occasionally we use “dear” when we’re being silly. Ex…“yes, dear”

Nothing wrong with “hon” IMO; but, hey, whatever floats your boat, Bradley!

My reading of the Brad and Toni Story is that they have probably done “it” more than once already, so Frank is being rather old-fashioned here—perhaps on purpose for his son’s sake….

My wife calls me, Honey Bun. I reply, Yeeeeess? She says, It’s me. I say, Who else?

I think the answer is now pretty clear. Greg said in his interview that readers are free to decide for themselves what goes on behind closed doors, but that he would never divulge that information.. in this case he has.

Are we still waiting for Toni’s honeymoon surprise, or is this a wrap on the wedding arc? Less than two weeks ‘til New Year’s Eve….will Gunther spend it with Bernice (she cleaned up pretty well for the wedding), or will he get involved with Tiffany? Luann? I guess I’ll have to give up on Rosa since Greg doesn’t seem to see the same potential for her as I do. He’s the boss and he’s moved on to other seedy characters like Les, Piro, Dez, Hair, and the lovely (shudder) Viper.

Brad, you will gradually slide into that routine.and you won’t even know when it happened, simply put, “resistance is futile.”

Been calling my wife “hon” for the last 21 years or so. Was only a few months ago she told me she really appreciated that term of endearment.

With everything that went on in her Backstory, Glad to see Toni so Happy.

“Hon” or “Honey” is fine. “My love” is better. But do NOT call me “Babe!” Now, my mom called just about everybody “Honey,” even if she didn’t know them. But then, she was old, so she could get away with it. I really hate it when people I don’t know from Adam’s sorrel horse call me by a term of endearment. It’s rude. As for Brad and Toni, those little terms of endearment will come along naturally. Before you know it, it will be “Sweet Cheeks” and “Studmuffin.”

Calling her hon = intimacy. Oh, Brad.

Too late for Brad to go MGTOW. Now his balls are in Toni’s hands and she can crush them whenever she wants.
