Court summons for minor, petty crap are down 90% and they're making arrests ONLY WHEN THEY NEED TO. Woman: Hmmm. I'm a bit concerned we won't maintain the highest prison population on Earth this way. If you were selling, say, loose cigarettes, you would not be killed outright. Police Officer #2: Carry on, citizen! Man: - the hell?! So, uh, this protest is great and should continue forever. Police Officer: We'll do our jobs good for as long as it takes! Police Officer #3: We'll EARN respect if we have to!
