When the “ill advised”get sick they lament they should have taken the shot, then most die… it’s a very easy choice to make…..LIVE…DIE, LIVE…DIE….casket or vaccine,…….

How sad. I wonder if he gave the same considered treatment to the red tin foil hat crowd?

Let the anti vaxxers and conspiracy nuts eat their own, that’s what I say! The rest of us will vax up, mask up, and wait for Delta to peak and recede and cases to start dropping again. If this variant ends up “owning the Cons”, I won’t kick.

I’ve been saying that if we vaxxers and maskers are sheep as we are called then the anti’s are lemmings.

I’m removing from my read list. The “willful ignorance” attitude shows a complete lack of social responsibility.

Although Traitor Trump has always changed his mind (to use the term extremely loosely) pretty much based on the last person he talked to, there IS video of him urging people to wear masks: “Even if you don’t like it, wear a mask!” (This was at one of his COVID “press conferences” which were really campaign commercials. No, not the one where he told his cult members to inject and ingest antiseptics, bleach, UV rays, and hamberders and covfefe.) Sometime in July 2020, I think.

No matter what anyone else does, while the Delta variant is causing some fully vaccinated people to come down with COVID, I’ll continue to wear a mask and social distance. I’m determined to do everything I can to get out of all this without having come down with even a mild case. If I do, then at least I’ll know I did everything I could to avoid it.

Absolutely NAILED IT.

The proper procedure for an N95 (or similar) is to discard it immediately when leaving the room after contact with a patient. Why? Because the materials accumulated on the exterior of the mask will disperse into the air around you AS YOU BREATH. The above rule was relaxed for medical staff ONLY because of the shortage of masks.

Think about that for a moment. Hospital staff were (and are) running around with the SAME MASK on for hours at a time. Moving from patient to patient, carrying COVID and everything else from room to room.

And you are wearing a cloth mask? A mask that does not meet medical grade specs? For hours. Even days. How often to you bleach that filthy rag on your face?

How many people have you encountered with a blue or white “paper” mask that is VISIBLY DIRTY? Visibly darkened around the mouth and nose as airborne particles settle and stick to the moisture from your exhalations.

Don’t knee-jerk. Stop and THINK. In ALL medical situations until COVID, masks were required to be SINGLE USE for a SINGLE PATIENT. Because using the same mask SPREADS INFECTIONS.
