    People don’t like science. The answers science gives are subject to change. People want answers that don’t change. It doesn’t matter if these answers are wrong; they are the answers they know and they’ll stick with them regardless of all evidence to the contrary.

    These are the kind of people who believe that the Belgian Congo and British Honduras are real places in today’s world. That’s what they learned in 1955 and the world hasn’t changed since and if it has we have to make it like that again.
