I thought Trader Joe’s and Aldi are owned by the same company.

I feel like a beer although I look like I’ve had some.

I don’t patronize either. Our Trader Joe’s is way across town, in an area with difficult traffic, and I’m not impressed with them enough to shop there (and deal with the driving) unless I happen to already be doing errands nearby. Aldi I avoid like the plague. Although there is one close by, with no traffic problems, I am unimpressed with all of their faked brands. But the last straw was when they tried to swindle me out of $50. I bought one of their store gift cards to give a family member, and the checkout clerk charged me for it twice. Store managers refused to do anything about it, even though they admitted the error. Had to have my credit card company reverse the charges. Not going to give Aldi any more opportunities!
