1997 – just before Skynet became sentient? Or not … according to Wikipedia, Skynet “will become self-aware in the near future” from 1984. Wha’d’ya think, is 13(+) years “in the near future”?
I wouldn’t worry about the robots just yet. My vacuum keeps texting me that it is stuck and I have to go look for it. WAIT a Minute I have a vacuum that calls me on the phone. Maybe closer than we think!

Slogging our packages from place to place to hardly an “uprising”. I’m more concerned about apps that read my mail in order to “help” me.
