I did not fight and claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat plants.

That’s not food, that’s what food eats.

My grandmother used to make wilted dandelion salad. She added vinegar and salt. It tasted and smelled horrible. It was good for you so she used to make us eat it. To this day, the thought gives me shudders.

I know for a fact, dandelions were hand picked and not everyone likes them.You can also make wine with them and cook them….Immigrants, during the depression and war picked them to feed their families…they wasted nothing in order to survive!

Iv’s had the yellow blooms that were battered like okra and fried. They were really good.

Grass? You’ve shrubbed me the wrong way.

We could’ve stayed home. At least our lawn has clover…

Next time you eat bread, have a bowl of noodles or rice, have a bowl of wheat, or oat cereal in the morning for breakfast, remember you are eating grass.

How it all came about. G-r-r Bark Bark = pest/pet M-o-o-o = food. No word on rating for green stuff.

They charge a fortune for the dandelions and call them Artisan, I will stick with iceberg

I remember when I was a kid seeing the old ladies with their stockings rolled up at the knee bent over on the side of the highway picking dandelions. My father said that the dogs helped to make the dandelions more tender. I still refuse to eat them.
