Can I help you find something? Um. Well, I'm going to a New Year's party, and I'm looking for the least expensive champagne one can bring without appearing too cheap... Ah. In that case, I would recommend this variety... Uh huh. Ok. Now what's the least expensive if one doesn't care at all about appearing too cheap?

If you want cheap, the first thing you do is you don’t go to a fancy wine shop. You get it at the grocery store. Or possibly Costco….

Just go buy a bottle of Cooks($4.99) Monty….For some strange reason Cooks is considered Méthode Champenoise.Spend another 5 or six bucks and you can have some Napa sparkling nectar on sale..

Don’t yet have liquor in the grocery stores. But from what I understand – those stores will have to be a certain distance from Beer & Wine stores and LDB (govt) stores.Monty should just go to the 7-11 and buy some nice Canada Dry Ginger Ale. It bubbles.)
