    You tie it to the drowning person so it will bob above their corpse and make it easier for the people in the boats to retrieve the body.

    The rescue tube, made up of high-density foam, can help keep the drowning victim afloat when they rest on it, or if they can’t swim, the lifeguard can bind it around the victim’s body and then drag them to safety.
