Is there a book on how not to be a dummy?

My husband is a home handyman and even after measuring twice, he’ll have similar results (on occasion, at least.)

Measure twice Cut once. Go back to Home Despot for wood putty.

There’s a chapter on how not to cut the saw’s power cord.

In the last panel, Monty has duplicated the last audible words in 95% of recovered cockpit voice recorders.

Must be an old saw, only an old “Contractor” would have one with a power cord.

I think we all saw that coming.

I used a power saw on a large styrofoam box once to get it into our trashcan. Big mistake. Granules all over, stuck to my clothing, hair, etc. Now for those I break off large pieces by hand (or foot).

He should switch to ventroliquism and buy “Dummies for Dummies”.

That’s why there is a “sacrificial” piece on saw horses

Good thing he didn’t buy a digital version & was reading on his cell phone or a laptop.

How did he cut the book and not also the table?

Two commercials, mixed messages: First commercial from “Megacorp Corner Drugstore” (you know the one I mean), has the overworked, underpaid pharmacist smiling like someone’s nana at the middle-aged specimen standing in front of her, and then gently saying, “Well let’s take at that”, referring to his glucose monitor. Second commercial immediately following from delusional big box home improvement store showing people who would have to be careful around a hammer slinging large, pointy power tools in projects that only pros take on. So, are we mother’s little baby needing coddling and constant care and encouragement, or empowered “do-ers” who stop at nothing in conquering our environment? No wonder we’re a country on the outer limits of mental illness.

The punch line from the robot was unnecessary. Otherwise, good gag.

“…for Dummies” doesn’’t even come close to matching Monty’s (minor) league, as we can see, sadly….

Monty is a scientist and he makes mistakes like this?Better not put him in charge of nuclear research.
