I take offense at your offense.

Inoffensiveness is impossible. So choose your enemies, and your battles, well.

I’m offended by your crude and offensive attempt to avoid offending me.

I like all the news that causes fits myself.

As long as the story is accurate.

If you removed all the stories that were inaccurate from a newspaper you would not even have the ads left (especially the ads!).

And if you write a story that one person sees as accurate, there’ll be five others who swear it is all wrong. Every time.

Nabuquduriuzhur: by your definition (being offended by the truth), Rush, Sean, Glenn, etc., are socialists. Hmm… it does explain a lot…

“All the news that’s fit!” I guess that’s the reason there’s nothing on the shelves to sell. Either there’s nothing to report or a complete sell-out.

Since offense is in the mind of the beholder, it is impossible to be totally inoffensive. Tolerance is the sovereign anodyne to offensiveness and we must ever strive within our own-selves to be niggardly with our feelings of offense!

Some answer questions, some question the answers. We need both.

Anyone with an agenda will find reason to be offended by an “opposite” point of view.

Offensensitivity.

Any story, true or not true, will have a protagonist and an antagonist. Through human error and making it more exciting, someone will be offended that they didn’t get their fair representation or that what was published was wrong. This comic strip makes so much sense…maybe the ekert will populate this newsstand!
