Just a guess, but I’m betting that he has little to add.

He probably works closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Miss Appropriation.

If this is to make me feel pity for micro-managers, it ain’t working.

I never could manage a micro. I guess it takes a special person to do that.

He’s the Micro-Manager in charge of shrinking the deficit.

    .,

Tiny details never escape from him.

This is normal procedure, so I don’t get it—except for the significance of that plant which arrived before the chairman.

Some people just do not trust their people to get the job done properly and lord over them like vultures searching for weakness an impending death by error.

I had a boss who was sort of like that. No plan was ever detailed enough for him. Eventually when you got down to the quantum level, everything fell apart.

    .

We had to provision boots for the Marine Corps. So his plan was to measure the foot of every Marine. Mine was to ask a bunch of them what their boot size was.

    .

“But what if they don’t know their boot size?”

    .

“So we don’t include them in the sample.”

    .

    “What if they lie?”

    .

“Who would lie about his foot size, besides there is equal possibility that they would lie in both directions and the lies would cancel out.”
