A plot twist is nigh? Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha … just ask Nancy Pelosi, starting off the New Year with new committee chairs, new subpoena power and new power over the budget (all money bills must originate in the House, and Trump’s puppets have just had their puppet strings castrated).

The old TrumpubliCON rubber stamp is gone. A new broom sweeps clean.

Nancy Pelosi has more balls than Trump ever did.

She collects ’em from all those who underestimated her.

I can’t believe Wiley when he says a ‘plot twist is nigh’ – on the current run of Sundays, he’s been saying that every week since it started. :D

For those thinking the new Congress will have ultimate authority, you need to go back and take a civics class. There is an old phrase, “The Congress indicts, the Senate Convicts”, that means that, for any action of the House to have any effect, the Senate must agree. With this grouping… that will not happen for the next two years. Trump is protected by a group that hates the Democrats more than they hate the President.

Ah yes, Pelosi, the Lady McBeth of politics. She’s a perfect example of how power corrupts absolutely, surpassed only by Hilary Clinton.

Calling the impending change a simple “plot twist” is a gross over simplification. At least it makes it somewhat less frightening.

Republicans have no idea what’s in store for them. Are they going to be surprised. Trump thinks the shutdown will keep Nancy distracted. He doesn’t know she can walk and chew gum at the same time, but he will. :)

My guess is that DDwiz is right except for one crucial fact. Once the Dumpf is out of office, even with a Pence pardon, the sovereign state of New York will come after him with knives in their teeth and the blond baboon ( and probably his entire offspring) will spend the rest of their lives behind that Wall he so fervently craves.
