Profit is ever the main motive behind most businesses and is the dream of most pols. Hoping for miracles is one thing. Actually achieving them is another.
Some years ago, lots of fashion models signed an agreement to never wear fur again. As time went by, most of them managed to forget their resolution. And a lot of ‘faux’ fur ids actually REAL fur — check it out.
Fur for fashion sucks. However, there are places on this planet where fur still keeps people warm and also usually comes from animals that are not endangered and further (no pun intended) tend to be downright nasty little boogers on a very good day. I can understand that to a certain point.

Wildlife Services is the program intended to provide Federal leadership and skill to resolve wildlife interactions that threaten public health and safety, as well as agricultural, property, and natural resources. The program is part of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Extermination seems to be the primary motive of the organization.
