I thought it was some kind of phallic thing with men especially that little squirt Putin pretending he has something in the nether regions.

Reminds me of a great line from the Abyss (movie): “When you’re hanging on by your fingernails, you can’t go waving your arms around.”

Pull yourselves up ON the table, and raise your hand – in a fist, quickly advancing upon the evil overlord.

Putin? You mean the nasty-minded little guy who is mostly alone and works in a building with very ornate rooms and 3-story ceilings and thinks no one loves him? That Putin? Yeah, that’s him alright.

This reminds me of an Isaac Asimov quote: “In Nazi Germany there was free speech. Even a Jew could say ‘Heil Hitler!’”

In Russia there is also freedom of speech. However, depending on what you say, there may not be freedom after speech.

Great, now Putin’s going to want one.

Nice to have a unanimous vote….

All the Russian references remind me of an old joke from the USSR days (but probably still applies). There are two major papers in Russia, Izvestia and Pravda. Izvestia means News and Pravda means Truth. The joke (in Russia) was, There is no Izvestia in Pravda and no Pravda in Izvestia.
