I live in Florida. This is turtle nesting season. People are not supposed to have visible lights on in their homes or hotels if they face the beach because it disorients the baby hatchlings from crawling into the sea. They mistake the light for moonlight and that’s what they use to head to the sea. This looks like a very disoriented turtle, or at least he’s going to disorient others.
