Yes, boys and girls of the present. Horse meat dog food was common back then.
Snoopy must go through a lot of typewriters.
Ray Milland would be proud.
Snoopy is a WW I ace. Maybe he should try and become a WW II war-correspondent. Sitting there under a tent pounding away on his trusty portable typewriter while the rain and enemy shells are raining down around him.
I know all about dogs and horsemeat from reading Henry Huggins books. He always bought it for Ribsy.
Somebody should write a story about that shot.
Clearly a portable typewriter.
Bread on the table?
They ate horses?
I guess getting hit with a Smith Corona is better than being hit with a waffle iron!!?
Two heads and better than one.
Snoopy and the Valiant Little Tailor.
Snoopy should be proud of that throw. It was just like skipping stones on a pond!
Nice shot, Snoop!
Man, I gotta replay Super Mario Bros 2.
We are reading the comic; so I guess the answer is a resounding, YES…..
Such violence in comics these days….
Wanna be part of the bowling league, snoopy?
Writer’s are sensitive and critics are insensitive.
Your inner critic is enough. You don’t need outside help.
I’d call that a double header.
Now Snoopy will have to get another typewriter.
Two heads, perhaps two weeks concussions.
He’ll regret that. Typewriters are so rare nowadays, you wouldn’t dare waste one like that.
Ahem… ladies, the familiar sentences of snoopy on the typewriter hooked to the twitter would make him viral and put 8 course meal on the table.
Lex Talionis, Student Loan Lady. (now back to Shoe)
Those two should be introduced to the Critics Lounge at the Ultimate Science Fiction Convention in Heinlein’s “Number of the Beast”.
Equality!
One of my faves.
