Sitting outside with my coffee this morning I saw a ring necked dove light on the roof of a car and slide down the back window. He looked startled, seemed to mull it over for a moment, flew back onto the roof and slid down again!
I guess we all get complacent with life, and fail to see all the adventure about us. Each day I wake up to another Lord’s day with all of its potential.
when i was a little kid, back when this came out, my friends and i could disappear all day and our moms didn’t mind. by high school we were literally going mountain climbing on the weekends. Then i aw my neices and nephews growing up and saw them when i was that age. I ran into a friend from those days, who himself had kids and watched them grow. he just shook his head and said “Our parents had no clue what we were doing, and neither did we”

Snoopy’s sense of adventure never goes away, Linus.

To think, being a helicopter might be the only thing Snoopy can do right.

It wasn’t that long ago that your adventure required them to intervene.

Whirlybirds was a popular TV series in the 1950s. I remember my family watching it.
