I was baffled when Charles M. Schulz claimed in an interview that Linus’ obsession with The Great Pumpkin wasn’t a religious cult allegory. It seems so obvious to me that it is.
However, Linus is less crazy than those who believe in ‘God’(of any flavor). You don’t hear of the ‘Great Pumpkin’ instigating violence and death upon non-believers. That would be religion/superstition for you.

Shouldn’t have asked for more information, Linus.

Linus has heard it all before. He knows people think he’s crazy, but a true believer doesn’t let that stop his mission to spread the gospel

The world is full of false prophets, some of them even have maniacal religions built in their image, so what else is new?

Linus, you’d have my vote if you were running for president

Crazy or not. The commercialization of religious holidays (and other holidays) are far too crazy.

it is 2024 and people still call him Santa Claus instead of calling him Saint Claus.
The word santa means female saint in Spanish

What if Linus became a true prophet?

And the funny thing is that it’s always Linus that quotes the scriptures.

Maybe he could form a non-prophet organization.

Marci’s parents are right. Anyone who believes that the orange-faced buffoon is great, is crazy.

Linus believes in the “Great Pumpkin”, so he is a shoe in for Trump’s cabinet. He could be in charge of painting Trump’s face each morning.
