There is no way for that to be Pastis’ offspring. There has never been a lawyer in the entirety of recorded human history tough enough to diddle a sheep, much less a croc.

Lawyers and crocs breeding… What do you expect from the crowd at the shallow end of the gene pool?

It is a wise kiddo who knows his father. Yet, little half-Pastis Croc recognizes Cartoon-Boy instantly! It’s a good thing Staci has closed the curtains on her window, because it would not be seemly for her to be seen laughing her a** off at this the way I am!

Go figure, how did you manage that basket boy?

Am I the only one who gets depressed by these strips? I don’t know if Stephan is actually divorced, but if he is, then this just seems like he’s pouring emotional baggage into an otherwise enjoyable strip. If he’s not, I wish he’d say something to that effect in the comic. Then I’d be able to enjoy these ones a bit better. As it is, they just kind of make me cringe every day that they’re on screen and suddenly Pearls is more of a chore than a stress relief.

Stephan’s turning into a real ‘basket case’. Consider the moment ruined, perhaps permanently.

Change the Lock and Get a Croc.I dont agree with above comment that Stephans emotional baggage is depressing. Pearls is essentially based on black humour. Its great to have the crocs back, and you should be able to laugh at anything under the sun howevver bad.. Thats how our parents got through WW2

To say nothing of the baby being born with a goatee and backwards baseball cap. Must have been a fun delivery.

How can we teach people who wonder about stuff to GOOGLE it? Go up to that rectangular blank-looking bar thing (can’t ever recall what it’s called) at the upper left-hand corner of the screen, highlight and delete whatever’s there, and type in google.com and click on the arrow to the right or do whatever you do to get it going. Then a screen will appear that says Google with a rectangle-shaped bar under it. Put some key words in the bar such as is stephan pastis divorced, click on “Google Search” below it, and then you’ll see some url’s (I keep forgetting what that stands for, but they’re the addresses to sites that may answer your question) to click on. If the key words you chose don’t work, try again. It’s fun!

With Stephan’s sense of humor, Staci has to have a good one or she’d have been gone long ago. Didn’t know he’s a lawyer, glad he chose the more honorable path to write bad puns. (The worse the better.) No one wants to see his briefs.
