I’m sure that Goodwill sees that type of “sharing” all too often.

I would hate to see Rat donate those things to bishops’ storehouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or to the Church’s Welfare Square.

Every time my wife would go travel with her sisters I’d go thru the pantry and pull anything with a expired date on it. I would then put it on Craigslist.com, in the free section it would get me dozens of people willing to take it off my hands. Most foods now days are so over processed that it’ll still be good for at least another year.

Depends on the item in question for some items will still be usable way beyond a best by date. Pasta is one.

Expiration dates are a scam!!! The food industry complex is in collusion with the anti-botulism medicine complex. They developed genetically modified bacteria that activate with calendar precision. Same technology they used to kill JFK. It’s a conspiracy!!!!!

I have canned food from 2008, big deal, no problems. If they are bad, you know it. The can is leaking or blown.

Go ahead, Pig. Six-year-old yogurt should be a very potent Colonic Cleanse. If you survive.

Rat’s heart is in the right place. It’s his head that’s the problem….

Most of what people call an expiration date is actually the “best by” date. Still edible but maybe not as tasty. I challenge anyone to let something sit a week after the “best by” date, and try it. Let us know if you can actually tell a difference, I bet not.
