Definition: An ist who isn’t fake.

As an engineer (= ultra- mega- realist) I have to agree with Pig.

The more you know the more it hurts! Sometimes ignorance is bliss!

Pessimists: They expect the worst so they’re happy when things go bad… but they spend their lives kinda sour. Optimists: The expect the best so they’re disappointed when things go bad… but they spend their lives feeling pretty good. Realists know the pessimists have the better system.

Like is what you make it!

Wrong Pig. You can be realist and still be happy.

My father used to try to smackdown people with the phrase, “Well you see, I’m a realist.” He certainly wasn’t. A pipe dreaming narcissist yes. Realist not so much.

Ignorant people are happier.

I think everything is funny since I realized “They can’t scramble the dregs without breaking the eggheads.” It’s especially funny since the orange puppet is part of the dregs but he thinks it’s only the fools who voted for him who are dregs and meanwhile it’s the moot eggheads who still think “All men are created equal” in some Turing machine sense. (But that original egg was somewhat rotten as regards women, native Americans, and slaves…)

The reality one sees is always subjective.Never the same as your neighbor.

Some people are just happy when they’re miserable.

I dream of Realism….

It’s hard to be positive in a world filled with negativity.

I’m with Pig. Some days are better, some days are worse—so look for the blessing instead of the curse!

A pessimist is someone who sits sadly at the party all night long, thinking about the mess that there will be in the morning. The Optimist is the person who spends all night enjoying the party and then takes 5 minutes to clean up the mess while the pessimist is still sitting there gloomily thinking about how hard it’s going to be to clean up the mess.

I’m definitely a realist. Too blunt for my own good.
