We own dogs and horses. Cats own us.

I have yet to be able to put food into a cat’s bowl without them being right there, doing figure 8s around my ankles. Magically, my patootie.

A dog thinks: Hey, these people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me…They must be Gods!

Stupid cat. Useless except for eating and pooping indoors…………. Why would anyone want one? Ugh

Cats rule! Dogs drool. – I have had reptiles, amphibians, cats, dogs, horses, goats, llamas, pigs, chickens, geese, hamsters, etc as pets all my life. I currently prefer the feline companion…

most cats are quite smart. Some people really love cats and enjoy their beauty and company – others enjoy dogs…now rodents and snakes as pets I don’t understand but I’m certainly willing to let folks live as they wish without insult. Try it :-)

Tyrants and dictators have historically enjoyed dogs as pets, and hated cats. Why? Because a dog can be trained to worship you, and a cat can’t — a cat will always, and only, treat you as an equal. They can be loving and playful, or they can be aloof, as they would be with another cat, but they never act like they were put on earth to serve you..If you can’t handle that, okay. Get a golden retriever and be happy. But don’t look down on what you just don’t get.

My cat is pretty smart overall. She does get spooked by the newspaper delivery van and the WHUMP of the paper in the driveway. She is more upset by the landscape company and their noisy mowers and other machines.

Cats…….The “other” white meat! So many cats….so damn few recipes!

I consider myself to be a dog person, but understand that cats are very popular, and there is no good reason to speak ill of the vile creatures. kidding

I love my dog AND my cat, and they seem to love me also. :-)
