I’m just waiting for the proper occasion to finish off my last mini bar from this past October.

Hallmark has Christmas in July, so it makes perfect sense.

He is taste testing.

No, see, if he eats a whole bag now, and another bag in July and August….

maybe one in September….

He’ll be sick of ‘em, and he won’t be tempted to eat the ones he buys for the kids in October.

Well, that’s his theory, anyway.

He might as well buy now because he knows he’s going to run out of them by Halloween.

Be prepared…

If the seasonal displays at the dollar store are any indication, June is cutting it a little close.

Someone needs a calendar.

Practice makes perfect

Well since he admittedly bought them for Halloween Opal should lock them away in a safe place until then

“Uh these are for the grandson. Where is that scaliwag?”

I’m just gonna have one…and then it’s downhill from there.

I wouldn’t e surprised if we did see the Halloween candy in stores now.

Of course, he’ll have to eat them all, before Halloween, because he won’t want to give the kids “stale” candy, now, would he ?

“In June?” “Of course. The Christmas decorations start coming out in July.”

It’s six months until Christmas! Yay!

When I lived in an area with lots of children (and they still went door to door on Halloween), I would start stocking up on full-sized bars beginning late May/early June. Stretched out the “payment” over a few months and I kept them “fresh” by tossing them, with great self-restraint, into the freezer.

I have, unfortunately, actually heard this from my spouse.
