Poor Earl ! Leave the old guy alone. He doesn’t come to your home and say nasty things about you. Why would he ? When you’re at his home all the time.

My niece was in Marine boot camp and was caught whispering to her neighbor. The drill instructor thought to make an example of her and told her to go talk to the brick wall. So she did. Carried on an entire conversation for about 15-20 mins. Not the result the DI was expecting. Not sure what happened after that. Probably nothing as my niece did exactly as the DI instructed.

Pearl has the personality of a barracuda. Her husband (if she ever had one) probably moved on years ago.

I guess conflict makes the strip but you would think that after all the years that Opal and Earl have been married that Opals sister would stop with the hate towards Earl

Wall make good listeners. Just ask anybody in Washington.

Earl seems to be a likeable chap. Maybe Pearl plays for the other team. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that. ) or just misandrous perhaps.
