My wife had a memory like a steel trap.

I always assume anything I do will reach whoever I least want to know about it.

So far, so good.

Had an ex like that once. If I wasn’t in any present predicament, one would be dredged up from days, months, even years ago. It was infuriating when I was confronted with a transgression I honestly had no memory of, but my ex really loved being infuriated.

I’m thinking the list the things I did and wish I didn’t and the list things I did and wish my wife didn’t find out about are exactly the same.
