It is uncanny how I can exhaustively look for an item and declare it doesn’t exist. Then the wife looks, finds it in two nanoseconds and says “here, in the cupboard, second shelf, left corner.” I swear it magically appeared.
My wife uses the infinite number of monkeys approach to unfamiliar tech… She just hits random buttons until something works. Fortunately she remembers the combination and can replicate it.
He’s never done the laundry before? I’m SO lucky to have my husband. He does laundry, cooks, shops and works a full time job. I do the laundry 99% of the time but if I’m sick or have had surgery, he does it. He cooks because if he didn’t, he’d starve. He eats red meat and fish. I don’t. Because of his working hours, our mealtimes aren’t the same. He likes to shop. I hate it. I keep telling him that I’ll do the online ordering and he can just pick it up. Nope, he likes going to the store.
Ah, the “men are too incompetent to do basic household chores” trope. Always hilarious. Excuse me for not laughing, but I just heard the dry ding and I’ve got a few more loads to do.

Understandable mistake, Earl. Washer should be to the left, and dryer to the right. Like “salt & pepper shakers” on the table IN THAT ORDER, DAMMITT!

Do they have a 1978 avocado colored dryer? Was the only job he was able to perform was in a sheltered workshop?

I hope Earl isn’t looking for the place to put the quarters.

My mother put the dirty clothes and detergent in the dryer and couldn’t figure out how to make it wash them.
