Fifteen years? More like nineteen years (almost twenty).

Fifteen years! I’m still ticked off at my mother for throwing away my high school sweatshirt, Class of ’72.

Don’t throw stuff out now…it’s almost Halloween!

I don’t think it is going to fit you anymore.

Surving Y2K20 appears to be a harder challenge.

Put that shirt back on and Party like it’s 1999 !

I still have a t-shirt that says “Coke” on one side and ’76 on the other.

Pluggers don’t clean out their dresser drawers. That would not be time well wasted.

I had to purge my “L” shirts back in my mid-40s. My shoulders got broad enough that they didn’t fit. Since then I’ve met a couple other guys that had the same growth pattern.

I don’t throw out until it’s worn out. Still have a few shirts that are thirty years old.

In my experience, once you throw it out, you find that you want to wear it again, but can’t find it (forgot that I got rid of it).

Heavens no.. don’t pitch it.. just put it in another box, never know when you might need it. The only time a pluggers stuff is pitched.. is after he croaks and the kids do the pitching.

Wife threw out my my World Cup team shirt. Said I hadn’t worn that thing in 4 years.

I was one of the people who made sure the programs still worked in 2000. Programming was my job.

I have two sweat shirts of ancient origins. Both about twenty years old. Rarely do beggars ask me for spare change.

Still has that Harbor Freight generator, an old RV, freeze-dried beans and his Henry rifle?

I have tucked away somewhere (unless my wife pitched it) a brand new tee shirt that says “ I survived mt St. Helens “. It was purchased when it was just letting off steam for weeks before the big one. I know…it’s in very poor taste. I feel for the people that lost their lives. I remember it vividly.

I still have my 1985 Halley’s comet t-shirt. I stayed up until four in the morning to watch it, and it was the worst appearance in 800 years.

“I Survived Hurricane Hugo” (1989) – No way I’m pitchin’ that. Next clean-out is 2034.

15 yrs is about right, but keep the special ones. Years ago I ran a 10 mile race in 16 deg F. That t-shirt will hang in my closet FOREVER.

Old Clothes are like a good meal, a good movie, great pieces of music.
