With online forms I always use January 1 as my birthday. Around the end of December I always receive a slew of birthday emails. (Only about half of the online forms will reject 1899 as the year)
Only cards I get are from my 93 yo mother and husband’s sister. We write and mail to mom, and husband’s younger niece as she does not have a cell phone to text to and family does not use a computer (not because they are outdated – they don’t know how). Everyone else in the family gets an email or a text (if they haven’t given us an email address. The four or five friends I send to get emails. (Especially the past two years as not going out to buy cards.)

Or, if you’ve been to the hospital so much that they have a coffee cup there with your name on it that’s all your own.
