I had my 65th birthday yesterday. Traditionally, we get to choose where we dine the night of our day. I wanted chinese, and Iām most fulfilled by a good combination plate. But the wife redirected us to a chinese buffet restaurant and, especially for $24, I went āwhole hogā with three plates. Felt stuffed, and the only atonement is that itās been years since Iāve had temptation without limits.
Turning 70 in a month; not a health freak. not very many aches. I find that a 30 minute walk a couple times a week keeps my joints in good shape. They start hurting if I slack off on the walking too much, though. Also, Iām outta there after the first layer of that plate. I know my limits.
