Yeah this would be me if we werent in the middle of toronto haha. I wonder if the building would mind if i put down dirt and grew grass on the balcony ..
No real front lawn – circular drive is on property too small for a circular drive, but not safe to park in street due to fast traffic so we squeezed one in. Grass inside arc section of driveway. Also have the entry side of the driveway going straight towards the garage.
So we keep our Class B RV (Chevy van) at the top of the straight part of the driveway. The car sits behind it. On the grass arc section we keep our regular van. Regular van or car can go out – but if car is in place van cannot come back on the driveway, so have to move car to next to the van – but on the circular portion of driveway if taking van out – unless the other person is out in the car.
When husband quit his job in his mid 50s we got started mowing by ourselves – mostly, due to this setup one side of house and backyard. But it got to the point where we both had work with the mower – I would take over if he got tired. The we got an electric mower – my job became holding the wire up in the air so he would not mow it.
Then Covid came along. We have no reason – other than mowing and getting items for craft show setups from the shed in back – so in 2020 we did not think to go into the backyard as we did not bother to mow – we’ll deal with it next year! Forgot about the backyard again in 2021.
By then the grass was almost waist high in the backyard. We gave in asked a neighbor who they use. Called him. Big surprise! The winter before we had trouble clearing snow after a particularly bad storm and a fellow with a plow took pity on us and knocked down the frozen snow so we could move it. The gardener we called was him! Of course he was instantly hired.
We no longer have to hope husband does not get ill mowing or clearing snow (not a question that same would possibly happen to me as I have more strength, etc than him).

I run out of gas every two laps and have to sit down and rest due to my ‘A-Fib’ ! ! !

The plugger people I see in my suburban area prefer mowers they can sit on.

Corded? How old is this guy and I’m old?

I had one many years ago. Couldn’t tell you how many times I had to fix the extension cord after running over it.

The only thing I use my electric mower for is mulching leaves in the Fall. We don’t have any grass and just let the mini-clover grow as it will.

A Plugger and an electric lawn mower – isn’t that an oxymoron?

For my yard – batteries don’t last long enough, cords aren’t long enough.

Plugger should contact Paradise Lawn Care.

Unless your lawn is a postage stamp, the batteries die before you can finish.
