I have yet to meet a any human who is not a hypocrite. It’s just particularly onerous in those who claim to be morally superior.

If some Christians could be more Christ-like, maybe things would be different.

Otherwise he would have done a teary, public, “I have sinned against you, my Lord”, and they would have had to forgive him.

Falwell was not a “religious crusader”, he was a lay administrator in the organization his father founded.

This reminds me of all the anti-gay legislators who turned out to be gay themselves.
