VERY well done! “Slow down, you move too fast. You got to make the moment last, just kickin’ down the cobblestones, look at the fun in feelin’ groooovy. Ladadadada, feelin’ groovy.” The summer I was 17, first job out of high school, I had already bought my own car ($100 for a gold ‘64 Chevy Impala with body shop “bullet holes” along the side ’cuz it had been totaled by the previous insurance company) but my parents decided I wasn’t mature enough to get my license. So every morning I was up and out to walk cross town to catch the 6:20 train to my job. Walking home on late summer afternoons, I’d sing the 59th Street Bridge song to myself as I was walking. It was a very good year….
I want to acknowledge all of the research work it took to create this strip. Well done, Dave. Well done!!! Also, it took a long time to read this because I had to sing every one of them!
