It was Winston Churchill who said “The best argument against democracy is a 5-minute conversation with the average voter.”

If that’s true, it is perhaps scary. But to know, you really have to get into the weeds of the population sample they used to determine this figure. Given the wide disparity of individual intellectual capacity, it may not be surprising that 10% of a broad segment of society is that dumb. But do they vote? Do they influence public policy?

For the first time in my life I recently bought a dozen brown eggs. What a ripoff! No chocolate at all!!

I thought that’s what brown cows were for.

I’m more concerned that people would try to stop them voting.

Well…..it does, doesn’t it? And you know where strawberry milk comes from? Yaks! Haven’t you noticed that a yak’s milk is pink?

A time to worry…Gen Z news sources include channels like Facebook (37%), Google (33%), and YouTube (31%) to catch trending news, as well as Telegram accounts of news publications, like CNA, Kompas, and Mothership, to stay updated. I’m sure it’s all presented with a “no spin zone” angle.
