A 1956 Corvette. Cool.

I often eat a PB&J for breakfast.

I thought this was going to be another Sunday strip set on a school day but it turned out not to be. It seems that Red loves the Saturday morning cartoons but forgot that he stays off school on Sundays as well as Saturdays.

“Son of a gun!” said Red while standing next to a real son of a b!tch who is a great friend.

All I can say is “Aww! Cute strip!”

Red can’t wait to get back to school and see Ruby. But he’s handling it well.

It’s that time of the year, so PB&G (Peanut butter and grapes). The red Reginas are just ripening. Like so many fruits and vegetables, home-grown grapes are much better than store-bought.

Must be a ’58 Corvette.

A 1957 Corvette cost $3,200 new ( $36,500 2024$) + $200 AM radio ($2,750 2024!!) $120 heater. A restored 1957 today is $100k.

My mother once sent me to school on Columbus Day. I used to walk to school, so there was no clue that it was a school holiday.

There were peanut butter cookies for lunch. Rover couldn’t wait.

I never got out the door before I realized it was Saturday.
