Just watch out where you walk in Italy today.
It is 12:00 somewhere.
I live in the woods in FL and people apparently celebrate News Years eve by visiting us their garbage bags.
And the Italian tradition really works. Those folks are much luckier than the people walking near the house.
I think the unlucky ones in Italy are the guys that have to clean up the mess. I hope they get holiday pay.
Does the past year’s bad luck in Italy include being hit in the head by pots and pans?
The elderly in Villar de Corneja should celebrate at Noon on the first. That way, they can toast a Samoan New Year.
Italian here, can confirm. But I don’t think it’s done anymore anywhere, old tradition.
It was mostly old dishes and crockery. But I’ve heard of a washing machine.
I see 5 dogs/ dog faces in Lake Malawi. Cute.
Noon which day, in Villar de Corneja?
Not that I have a practical need to know, but the description is annoyingly vague.
HIPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
In 15 hours (at least here), the Earth will pass some arbitrary point along the Earth’s orbit around the sun.

Lake Malawi is metric so the name Calendar Lake doesn’t measure up!
Ecuadorians are headed to the Rio Grande.
One of the community centers near where my mom lives has a “Noon Year’s Eve” party for the local kids.
Our local town does a pig drop.
