A few years ago, I decided to buy my mother-in-law a cemetery plot as a Christmas gift.

The next year, I didn’t buy her anything.

When she asked me why, I replied, “Because you still haven’t used the one I bought you last year!”

And that’s how the fight started.

I always put up my (artificial) tree the day after Thanksgiving!

Like we need psychologists to figure that out.

Just remember the stuff about decorating when your wife asks you to finally take down the outside lights…in July.

We never had silver tinsel, but I remember the old stuff made of lead that would fall off the tree and short out the Lionel trains. When we took down the tree we always tried to get the tinsel off to use next year.

Allow me to add my own “Merry Christmas” greeting to all!

I’ve been to Holiday World, though it has been at least a decade. They have a campground, and you can rent RV’s (which we did) or cabins. They have a water park too, it was all really quite nice, much more family friendly than the mouse park in my opinion.
