What a sweet family they are.

The snow’s that bad that online school is delayed?

I believe that the descriptive term for that family is COOL. As in that is a cool family that has it all together.

If one lives in the right area (we did), the snow closing list is on the radio.

Parts of the US are currently experiencing harsher winter conditions than Iceland. Here in Reykjavík it’s currently 3C (37.4F).

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day…unless there’s a chance to have some fun and make some memories!

How fanciful! What you’ll really be doing is shoveling the driveway and clearing off your car so you can get to work!

Snow days are becoming a thing of the past now that more schools have online contingency plans for providing lessons. The kids are expected to complete that day’s schoolwork via the Internet.

At least they still get to stay home.

Currently 73F/22.8C here in Northern Florida. Of course, In my home town in Maine it’s -4C. Probably the reason I’m here in Florida.

I haven’t been to Iceland in about 30 years (spent some time in Keflavik when I was in the Navy) It wasn’t that cold, but the cold was wet and the wind would howl. Hard to stay warm.

Breakfast will taste better as brunch after a bracing hour on the slopes; school will be cancelled.

I always wondered what it was like to have loving supportive parents. XOXO

At 1:00 pm in the heart of the Mexico City, it’s 76° F. (24°C.). No snow, lots of lovely sunshine!

We did not hit zero degrees C here in Kansas City. Almost -3 deg. C.

It is all the way down to 53° in Sacramento at 20:00.
