We always get time to put the trash out in the morning. That way, it doesn’t have to be raccoon-proof; and a sunrise can be just as beautiful as a starry night.
I SO appreciate how this strip celebrates the little moments in life. There ARE still many, many, many things to enjoy. From Beach Read by Emily Henry: “I know feeling small gets to some people,” he had once told me, “but I kind of like it. Takes the pressure off when you’re just one life of six billion at any given moment. And when you’re going through something hard”—at the time Mom was doing chemo-“it’s nice to know you’re not even the only one.”
Not a lot of trash in those bags, is there? A 33 gallon trash bag, when full of trash, can be really heavy. I couldn’t lift my week’s trash high for more than a few seconds.

How wonderful to appreciate nature while taking out the trash and luring others to follow.

I’d hate to see what the WOKE and PC crowd would have to say about this.

Garbage moments are cool. But they should be “bring your own can.”
